Functional sculptures are attracting more and more attention from art collectors. This form of art occupies an original position. Through design and use of materials, these items offer a special experience during interaction. The appreciation is not only visual: it also requires tangible, functional and emotional, physical experience of these works. Founded in 2020 by interior designer and curator Mia Karlova, the eponymous Mia Karlova Gallery seeks a form of dialogue between art and design. Presented works are unique or created in limited editions.
