Mia Karlova Galerie is an international art & design gallery located at Nieuwe Keizersgracht 58 in the heart of Amsterdam. Specialising in collectible design, contemporary art and functional sculpture, the gallery represents an international programme of artists and designers whose practices move across art, design and craftsmanship.
Housed in a historic Amsterdam canal house, the gallery presents contemporary art and collectible design beyond the traditional white cube, where architecture becomes part of the work's experience. Through curated exhibitions, artist commissions and site-specific projects, the gallery explores how works are experienced not only within the gallery, but also in the architectural settings and private collections for which many of them are ultimately conceived.
Founded by curator and interior architect Mia Karlova, the gallery is guided by thoughtful curation and the conviction that contemporary art and collectible design are experienced most fully when they become part of the places where people live, work and gather.

Mia Karlova Interior DesignBefore founding Mia Karlova Galerie, Mia Karlova established an award-winning interior architecture practice specialising in private residences, hospitality and public projects. Her work has been featured in leading international publications, including Architectural Digest, ELLE Decoration and Interior+Design.
In 2019, Architectural Digest recognised Mia Karlova among the leading interior architects of the year, and she received the award for Best Public Space Project. Her background in architecture, spatial composition and materiality continues to shape the gallery's curatorial approach, particularly its interest in presenting contemporary art and collectible design within an architectural context.
