Vadim Kibardin is known for his signature work with discarded cupboard and paper. Vadim Kibardin is known for his signature work with discarded cupboard and paper. Black Mirror collection features various chairs and a coiffeuse table. Vadim’s designs express a tense dialogue between function and aesthetics. Rational and emotional worlds collide to give birth to a burst of energy encapsulated in one artistic functional object.

The Black Mirror duo is the next round of evolution of the Black Paper collection. The focus of research has shifted from the examining the abilities of the cardboard as material to the exploration of its multifunctionality and aesthetics. The coiffeuse Black mirror offers to use imagination playing with multiple functions: different levels of work surfaces, shelves, hangers, ordinary and magnifying mirrors and various scenarios of lighting coexist in one piece. All this functionality is captured in a complex sculptural composition with a tensed relief aligned with an already recognizable pattern covering the surface.
