Beyond Being reflects on the tension between what we are given and what we can become. Our environment shapes us, but it does not have to define our limits. For Pepe Valenti, to grow is to challenge the boundaries around us, as well as those we place around ourselves. Yet so much of who we are is still to come. The solid block and the metal cloud growing out of it, is a way of asking the audience to let go, to dream, to become. The future is the potential of what may still happen.
