Valeriya Isyak
In each of her creations, Valeriya goes beyond merely assembling mosaic pieces. She embarks on a unique process where she "paints" images with porcelain. This approach allows Valeriya to infuse her artwork with depth and intricacy, going beyond the traditional boundaries of mosaic art.
Valeriya Isyak is a Ukrainian born ceramic artist. She uses a unique process of assembling individual porcelain petals, creating artworks that merge delicate craftsmanship with profound artistic expression.
Each panel, composed of thousands of hand-shaped and coloured porcelain petals, forms a cohesive and captivating whole. This approach allows Isyak to infuse her artwork with depth and intricacy, going beyond the traditional boundaries of mosaic art.
Isyak’s practice is deeply personal, often reflecting her contemplations on global issues and philosophical questions. There is an undeniable fragility to her work, yet it exudes a sense of resilience – an invitation for viewers to look deeper, to feel the beauty in both the vulnerability and strength that radiate from each piece.
